Happy Anniversary! ^^
It was our second wedding anniversary yesterday (happy birthday, Bampa :D). Day in work wasn't fantastic as it dragged and I had to do invigilation, which was the longest 60 mins of my life, but in the evening M and I went out for dinner. Only local and down the road (I'm too tired to do much else today), but we had some nice food and stumbled back - both full to bursting! - about 8.30pm. I, obviously, had to go straight to bed then I was so tired. :\ So the night wasn't that romantic! ;) lol
I still can't believe he married me. I adore him. :D Bless him, he's even excited about SH3 on my behalf. ^^ Anyway, it's amazing that it's been two years already - and in July, our “meeting” anniversary will hit nine years. Which is staggering! I can't imagine what my life was like before him. :D
We don't exchange gifts cos we think it's a bit pointless (if you love and care for each other every day, why should this one day be different?) but we swop cards and I had a lovely bunch of roses, which is nice cos he hardly ever buys me flowers. And I was really pleased, cos I managed to get him two tickets for the City playoff on Sun, which he was desperate to go to (I was on the phone for 40 mins trying to get through). It'll mean I won't really get to play SH3 all weekend since we're working Fri night, Antenatal classes on Sat and then E's 1st Birthday in the pm, and then Sunday M's out on an all-dayer in town, but hey, at least we're both off all next week. And maybe we can squeeze in a quick game Sat evening. I got the demo on Sun, but haven't had chance to play it really - plus it keeps resetting itself at annoying times, so I don't think I'll be using it much!
Right, on my way to Antenatal clinic now.
